Aquaculture Certification Council- Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP)
SeafoodPlans.com works with aquaculture facilities and processors on submitting applications to the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) standards for feed mills, hatcheries, farms and processing plants. To date, the BAP standards certify aquaculture facilities for shrimp, tilapia, pangasius, channel catfish and salmonids. Standards are in development for additional species. SeafoodPlans.com also consults for companies interested in GAA/BAP repacking and registered buyer programs for distributors, wholesale and retail establishments.

GLOBALG.A.P AQUACULTURE SUBSCOPES SeafoodPlans.com has passed examinations and is cleared to audit to GlobalG.A.P (EUREPGAP) aquaculture standards. The GAP stands for Good Agriculture or Aquaculture Practices. We can provide consultation on GlobalG.A.P standards including: General Regulations, All Farm and Aquaculture Base Modules, Risk Assessment on Social Practice (GRASP), as well as Chain of Custody for finfish, crustaceans and molluscs based on recently released v.4 standards.

Seafood HACCP Guidance
Our consulting team has professional training in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) for wild and farm-raised seafood products. We provide consultation in Pre-Requisite Programs (i.e.,  Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), current Good Management Practices (GMP), identifying significant hazards, setting critical control points, critical limits, establishing corrective actions, scientific validation of CCP's, auditing and monitoring verification and establishing monitoring records for cooked and raw seafood products.
